Summary:
AgriGates’ Version 1 Data Standard for 3-axis accelerometer outputs sets a foundation for reproducible, high-resolution research in animal agriculture. This open-format CSV and XML schema ensures consistent timestamping, sensor metadata, and data structure, enabling transparent, cross-site collaboration and ML-ready datasets. By standardizing raw accelerometer data, we move beyond black-box outputs to support scalable behavior modeling, welfare analytics, and data sharing across species and systems.
